On June 8, 2010, the ASTM Committee D19 on Water will host an EPA and ASTM Workshop for the analysis of cyanide in water. This workshop will cover the new and revised cyanide test methods that are expected to be proposed by the US EPA for inclusion in 40 CFR Part 136 as part of the agency’s next methods update rule. Interact directly with the developers of the ASTM standards during a cyanide task group meeting on June 9. The cyanide workshop will be invaluable to field sampling personnel, environmental laboratories, regulators, auditors or anyone that is required to collect and test water samples for the analysis of cyanide.

The meeting will be held at the Renaissance St. Louis Grand and Suites Hotel; St. Louis, MO US. Reservations may be made by telephoning the hotel directly at 800-397-1282. The workshop will be on Tuesday, June 8 from 1:00 - 5:00 PM. The Cyanide Task Group Meeting will be open to all workshop attendees on Wednesday, June 9 from 8:30 - 11:30 AM.
